Labor & Delivery Doula
Please note that I limit the number of clients I take per month.   While the odds of my clients going into labor at the same time are small,  I grow very fond of my clients and it would just kill me if I had to miss one.  If it does happen I have amazing back up doulas.
$800

I will be on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week,
from the time your pregnancy reaches 37 weeks.
(and during normal hours from the time you hire me!)
Available by phone, text, or email.

I will meet with Mother and any other persons Mother wishes,
for educational purposes and explaining medical procedures,
and reviewing your birth preferences.

We will meet a minimum of twice and a maximum of four times before the 36th week.
This does not include the initial interview.
These visits are meant for us to get to know each other.  And for me to get a feel for
what you will want/need from me during labor.

One of these visits could be with the Care Provider on a regular prenatal visit.

Provide labor support*

First Moments Photos
I will bring my camera to capture all those first moments so you can just enjoy them.
I will bring you a disc with all the photos to our postpartum visit.

After the birth I will make at least one visit to answer any questions about the birth,
or answer any questions about infant care.

*Labor Support
At the first sign of labor you should notify me regardless of the time of day. I will be at your side to render support when ever you are ready for me to come. Normally I will come to your home and then travel with you to your place of birth. Also as part of my service I will stay with you until things settle down after the birth, and breastfeeding has been started. During labor and birth I will perform massage and other non-Pharmacological pain relief measures, make suggestions in regards to changes in atmosphere/environment to facilitate birth, help support the partner so that they can love and encourage, supply emotional support and information on the progress of birth or any medical procedures that the staff are considering.

A  non-refundable deposit of $200 will be needed to hold your due date..
